The amazing thing about how this was set up is that you can direct link to albums in PhotoBucket, import pictures from PhotoBucket using IMG code, and upload pictures from your own computer picture files. No longer are we limited to just one method of bringing pictures to a thread like "the other guys".

So far I have done all of the possibilities (or at least the ones I have discovered) and they work GREAT! Huge thanks for all of these possibilities :D

Dave

Can someone explain how to add a video clip?

Gun, there are probably a lot of ways to do it; but my typical approach is to just upload it to you tube and then just paste the link into your thread. That has always been easiest for me.

Thanks Ted
I played around with it a bit but couldn't figure it out. I did remember i have photobucket. Loaded it there and hacked it in somehow. I think it works. Slow for us out in the country

Great! Yeah photobucket works pretty well for me. I mostly just use it for photos and you tube for videos. Glad you figured it out. I watched it - one heckuva buck you posted!

In the past I uploaded photos. I now have an I phone and in my house a new laptop with Windows 10 and cannot figure out how to upload from either. Is there any help out there?

So it looks like photos takin with my I Phone are the problem. I took a photo with a camera, loaded it into my new lap top and no problems uploading to PBS. So how do I use PhotoBucket to upload photos from my I Phone to this thread?

Rick, I do it from my iPhone all the time. Did you download the free photobucket app? If you have that, you just press the little plus sign to upload, choose your pics, choose your album, and go. Once uploaded, you copy the img tag from photo bucket just like the laptop. Depending on what you copy, you may need to delete some text on the link. To post, I always make sure my link starts and ends with [img]. If it has that, it will probably work - and I preview my post to make sure everything is showing up correctly.

Rick, you take the photos from your phone picture library and put them into your Photobucket account.

Download the Photobucket app

Hit the little cloud and it will ask for permission to access your photo library.

Select the photos you want and hit enter.

Once the photo is put in your Photobucket account, open it there and on the bottom of your screen is an "I".

Click the "img" link to copy it, then come into your thread here and just paste it anywhere into your post.

If you can't get it I can walk you thru it over the phone when you have some wifi.

iPhone - Photobucket test per Steve's advice. Note that the 'i' at the bottom of the Photobucket image has a circle around it.

I think I'm almost there. Now how do I "paste" to the thread?

In Photobucket, after pressing the 'i', your image will be copied (for pasting). Go to the thread and (in your message/post block press down and hold momentarily. If you don't see 'paste', just press and hold momentarily (1 full second or so) again. 'Paste" will show up in a block; just press that block normally and your image code (or image) will show up in your message.

Go to 'Preview' and tap it to see if the image is showing up.
