So let's say we want to attach a picture or a series of pictures within our post. We have a great little feature called Place Inline which will put the picture were you want and not grouped as an attachment at the bottom of the post.

Lets begin by adding a photo:

Using the dialog box we can select our photo.
Attachment:
picTutorial1.jpg
picTutorial1.jpg [ 72.48 KiB | Viewed 6799 times ]

Next... where did the attachment go?
It is directly under our text (typing) box and labeled Attachments: {multiple attachments create a drop down list for selection]
Attachment:
picTutorial2.jpg

Okay...now you see the Place Inline? Within your story you will put your cursor where you want your picture placed (some of you have done this with PhotoBucket) and then click the Place Inline and there you go. A picture within your story. Just like the two photos I added for this tutorial.

How do you put in more than 1 photo in a post? I see where you browse for 1 picture, but how do you get 2 or more?

Terry, once you add the first image you will repeat those steps to add image two. Does this make sense? Use the Upload attachment dialog bow to add them one after the other.

Well I'll be, it worked. Just goes to show, you can teach an old dog a new trick.

Ok, Bryan you are really good if you can get old dogs like Jack and I to post more than one picture at a time.

Thanks for the help.

I'll have to ask my mom, because I may have been dropped on my head too many times when I was little as I still can't figure the photo thing out.

I think you may have a little better luck if you ask your son...

You can do it Mr. Ex-Pres! Pick the file and hit submit!

Still can't get it. I went to the bottom, clicked on "browse", picked a photo, hit submit and all I get is a blank screen. I'll have to try some other time.

Kevin, try adding some text to the big white box before submitting the post.

Thanks Steve O. and Bryan B. for the phone support. While I still can't load photos on my normal browser, I can do so on Firefox that Bryan set up for me. Now I need to shoot something once in awhile to take pics of!
