I thought you guys could appreciate this. I'm in the final stages of buying a new house - with three kids under the age of ten; we figured we needed some space. Here's the aerial photo. I think it'll work ok.

If things go according to plan (knock on wood); we close in a couple weeks.

Hope all goes well for ya Ted. I also hope you're going to tell us that you either own or have permission to hunt all of that timber!

;)

And it looks pretty much the same to the east too. I bowhunter killed a 150" buck just north of the pic. I really could care less about that, but there is LOTS of deer sign on the property. The first time we went to see it, there had just been a fresh snowfall and there were tracks on the front porch. My wife asked the current owner if they ever had a garden and they laughed at her . . . my kind of place for sure.

I won't own all of it, but enough to keep the freezer full even withough permission. I do think permission should be attainable on it. The owner is a good guy; I've had a couple conversations with him already.

That's awesome. Nothing beats living in the country. Especially when you can walk out the back door to go bowhunting.

Love that area! I grew up on a farm north of Pittsburgh outside of New Brighton, Pa. Lots of great hunting! Living now darn near dead center in Dallas, Tx. Sigh.... Good Luck on the new house! If anyone is looking for me, I will be found pounding my head flat on a wall.....
