Regretfully I have to inform you that I have lost a good friend and we have lost a long time regular member of PBS. Ted Judson passed away in the early morning hours yesterday. He had been declining in health since he suffered a major stroke about a year and a half ago.
Ted had an impressive, successful hunting portfolio, visiting places around the world like Canada, North West Territories, Artic Circle, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Africa (six times) and countless states in the US. On almost every trip, Ted's wife Jan would be by his side, patiently waiting while reading several novels.
As I said Ted was a long time regular member of PBS and also spent many years working with Comptons.
Ted will certainly be missed by his friends, and family. Any one wishing information on the viewing or funeral please PM me on this sight.

I neglected to mention that Ted Judson was a resident of Blissfield, Michigan.

Very sad to hear of this. I shared some time and space with Ted on a few hunts, as well as Compton's and PBS events. Ted was a longbow guy and I dont believe I ever heard of him hunting with any other type of bow. Any time I think of him I immediately see Jan at his side, and I'm sure she is overwhelmed with grief tonight. Sincere condolences to Jan and their friends.

Thanks for letting us know, Pip

Thoughts and prayers to the Judson family. Saw him often at Michigan events and appreciate his PBS and Compton contributions.

Condolences to family and friends. Sounds like he hunted hard when he could.
Rest in Peace Brother of the Bow

Sorry to hear of Ted's passing, he always made time to sit down and talk with me and he had such a great positive infectious attitude. Condolences and prayers to his family.

Kim and I went to the funeral home earlier tonight to pay our respects. I was fortunate to be able to share some campfires in the Arctic and Africa with Ted. My prayers go out to Jan during this most difficult time.

I never had the opportunity to hunt with Ted, but always enjoyed his infectious smile and kind words. God speed and prayers for the family.

Bobbi and I along with Nick and Brenda Mathews visited with Jan at the funeral home last evening. I too shared more than a couple of hunts with Ted and he was fun to travel with. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Jan and his family.
