Maybe throw your hat back in?......For what it's worth..I have retired from being Vargo's Southern campaign manager and available if needed. I cant buy John votes down here. Some guys you just cant hide the Yankee in them even if they change states. Seriously you did an awesome job and hurry back.

Good call Joey -- Steve does deserve a big pat on the back (of his fancy seal-skin vest!). He will still be very active as one of three Co-Chairs of the rapidly growing Regional Program -- covering the west side of the country, and doing the pertinent website admin. for regional events. He has also taken on the laborious task of updating and putting our Policy and Procedure Manual into an electronic format which will go on for another month or so...and this has been a very big job!...and an extra THANKS for that one Steve!!

Steve, Thanks for all you've done for PBS. You took time in Nashville to talk to a new member and his wife. I was impressed that you could stop a minute and chat. Sterling had always told me about the great folks involved...I saw it first hand.
Thanks again, Johnny/Skunkhead

Thanks for your professionalism Steve. Let me know if you need help proof reading or other administrative support with the P&P digitization effort.

Steve is a "doer"..... one who has stepped up to the plate repeatedly, not only when asked, but on his own as well. I for one truly appreciate all his hard work and contributions to PBS...his sense of humor has also served him well. Keep up the great work Steve....and get some well deserved rehab on that shoulder!

Dave

In some ways it seems like Steve has just gotten started. I guess because he's involved in so much it's made the time fly by. I feel he has been a moving force in getting a lot accomplished in the last few years, and I appreciate his efforts. We need to keep him focused, because he is able to do so much.

With everything else that Steve is involved in he still made time to review and revise a short story that I contributed to the magazine. It is important to note that I have never met Steve in person, I only showed some interest in contributing. This alone shows what kind of man he is, and what kind of dedication he has for the PBS. Thanks for all that you do Steve!

Steve's not a bad sort, I sent a yarn to him to see if it was worthy of the mag. Good luck on the goats Steve!
