I think all members owe Steve a vote of thanks for serving the PBS so admirably. If you go back and read his mission statement on running for office you will see he indicated he would step out of the box and try to get a few things done. I know he stepped on some toes as any hard worker does but I think he did a great job. Thanks Steve and thanks for the Mouflon tip.

Sterling does'nt say much here. But the arrow certainly hit the Bulls eye on that statement. Kudos

Seal Back, Thanks for all your hard work. That your friendship is important to me is an understatement. From that first meeting several years ago, I have appreciated your friendship and advice.
Sterling hit the mark! Now you can get back to your hen house and gathering eggs!

I certainly concur with Sterling and all what the others have said about Steve. In the short time I have known him, he have certainly unselfishly helped me with a few things. He certainly showed his dedication to the PBS organization when we were in Cincy. I mean the man had his arm in a sling, and that did not slow him down one bit to make sure things ran smoothly at the banquet. Man that is dedication. Thanks Steve for all you do and have done.

Tony

Thanks Steve, When I first met you in Cincinnati, you were running around like a one winged chicken with its head cut off, but you still made me feel like you've known me for ever....and you wasted no time in finding me something to do!! :D

I want to echo what others have said about Steve...hard worker, dedicated to the cause, unselfish and more.....and he recently called me "Dad".....not sure what to think about that!

For a government employee, that guy sure can work ;)

If he makes good on his resolution to get in 8-9 hunts per year like in the old days, I can't wait to enjoy his well-documented adventures here on the web site and the magazine. He and Dr. Ben made quite the team, I miss their hunts together.

I think it was somewhere back in 1993 or so when I 'met' Steve. I was considering a caribou hunt to Quebec and the usual discussions were happening on Bowsite. I was advocating that it seemed like a pretty sure bet, and lots of bowhunters were killing caribou. We ended up in a bit of a hmm....discussion...and I seem to recall Steve dicing me up pretty good. "Horribly and ignorantly inaccurate" I believe were his words. I figured to avenge this somehow, so I joined PBS....

Okay...not exactly on that last sentence. BUT...I will tell you that I've come know him as a pretty cool guy and adequate bowhunter. :D A little high maintenance and needs a lot of hugs some days according to a few of his partners. What he really is to me...is a hardcore proponent of bowhunting the hard way, and a tireless spokes-worker for PBS. I've come to enjoy his company and wit, even if it means I might be a little out there myself. Too much time in a little tent? I don't know...but I'm glad he's around here and available; a great resource person with a ton of experience and brains.

Hey-Ho.... I'm looking forward to seeing you next go'round in Florida. I got a hug waiting just for you, too!

Of course, I agree. As I mentioned to you a while ago, you completed a thankless job remarkably well. I very much appreciate your efforts for the PBS and even more so I appreciate your friendship, Steve. Great job!

Who is holding his "murse"?

I joined right before Nashville and I can honestly say I haven't seen another member more active, supportive and dedicated than Steve Ho. He also has a sense of humor which I appreciate.

Deserved accolades for sure. "PBS Poster Boy" ?

I sure am glad we have people like Steve that step up for PBS. Without him, and the rest of the council, our organization would be a distant footnote in bow hunting history. As Sterling pointed out, I really appreciate how he laid out a platform of his vision for PBS and has worked to see those thoughts come to fruition.
Good job Steve!

Steve has been a great asset to PBS -- willing to take on less desirable tasks without second thought....such as putting the policy and procedures manual into an electronic format and "modernizing the terminology" in a proper manner...not to mention chairing the Cinci event, and establishing a more systematic presence for the regional program on the website. He's "a doer"....

Granted, "Old seal-back" has his own style...takes a little getting used to! - but he sure deserves a big pat on the back, and great to see it coming here!

The dude covers a lot of ground. Hard worker, fearless goat hunter, PBS exec, um . . . not sure what to say about his sense of humor. . . guess you'll just have to share a camp with him to experience that! :)

Good job Steve and Thank You!
