Tim Denial of Pennsylvania has applied for Regular Membership in PBS. He has completed a lengthy application and is currently under review by the Executive Council.

If you are a Regular Member and see any reason this applicant should not be accepted, please contact (within 30 days) PBS Senior Councilman Steve Osminski at the e-mail address, phone number, or mailing address provided in the front of every magazine. A private message here on the website can start the investigation process as well. The contact information for Senior Councilman Osminski can also be found here on the website under the post "PBS Council Contact Information".

Please note, the Council can only take into consideration statements that can be defended. FACTUAL STATEMENTS ONLY, no hearsay or personal unfounded opinions can be considered as reasons to reject any of these applicants.

Tim is a great guy. He has worked very hard promoting us over the years at the ETAR shoot. He also hosts some great shoots at his place. I am pleased to see he is going through the process.

Tim, it was my pleasure to meet you in Cincinnati. I'd be honored to one day share a campfire with you chasing whatever.

Good luck. Thank you for stepping up.

Mike

Tim is a good man and I get to share a campfire with him while hunting hogs in several weeks.

Dianne says Tim can't be "approved" until he comes out here and hunts with us... and calls a bull in for her. Hey, I'm just the messenger.

Tim is a good man and great Bowhunter. Tim will make a great addition to the Regular membership ranks.

I am very glad to see Tim stepping up.

Jack Denbow and I met Tim about 15 years ago at ETAR. We shot a round with him and his friend Bob. They were camping at the site and invited us to eat lunch with them. That was the beginning of a long friendship. Tim is a doer. If there is work to be done, he is first in line to do it. He asks what he can do rather than waiting to be asked. He promotes ethical bowhunting and the PBS.

Last year Tim stopped in Virginia en route to the PBS Rough Mountain hunt and hunted a couple of days with Jack and me. He was constantly asking what he could help us do. (He could probably see that both of us were dealing with some age related injuries that limited our physical activities). I had been struggling with a ladder stand that I wanted to erect in a rocky thicket. Tim asked where I wanted the stand. I pointed to a maple tree. Tim picked up the stand, walked it to the tree and put it in place. I was in awe. Then he climbed it and attached it to the tree. Thanks Tim. I shot two deer from it after you left. You should hunt from it the next time you visit.

Tim is eminently qualified for Regular membership in my opinion.

Good luck, Tim. I don't think you'll need any luck, as I concur with what others have said previously. "Doers" are just what PBS needs and I believe you'll be a quality Regular member.

Wait a minute...I am sure I saw "retired" somewhere on that application--you have to get out there quick. I am going to have to set up a counseling session for you with Joe Lasch and Pete McMiller!

We were at the banquet and my wife asked me..."Who is that guy you were just talking with?"

I told her it was Tim.

"Is he a Regular?"

(me) "Heck yeah. Well...I think so. If he's not, he oughtta be."

This one's a no-brainer...good luck Tim!

You REALLY expect us to believe your wife ended her sentence with a preposition? :ugeek:

I've met that woman and I don't believe you!

Oh and two thumbs up to Tim Denial! :!:

I spent a day with him at the Rough Mountain hunt this year and will be with him later this week in Georgia for the hog hunt. A good guy.

Marilyn is extremely versatile and adaptable to many settings. She does stuff like that as a sort of 'class camouflage'...ha!

Another kudo to Tim....be sure to keep that phone handy!

Gene, you know it. I call it 'Game Night', because it usually starts with "Let's make a deal....."

Oh boy, did we ever get some dirt on Tim at the just-completed Membership hog hunt in Georgia. We couldn't decide which nickname was better: Quicksand or Skippy. Check out the thread on the GA hog hunt for details.

Met Tim this past weekend. He is a true gentleman, was always willing to pitch in and help out, and will make a fantastic regular member.
