I don't have the property to be able to host a full fledged membership hunt, but I i can host one or two members on a combo bear/deer hunt this fall. I am thinking of around the 15th-21st of September, that would include opening of our deer season and the last six days of our bear baiting season. I can run two baits, so I could accommodate two hunters max. If there is interest in this I will begin putting it together, if more two "take the bait" I will draw names at the end of February, that will give interested parties plenty of time to plan other hunts.
I am pretty sure I can put you on bear, not necessarily big bear, but bear. Not so sure about deer, that is a little harder to do in NH.
We will stay at my house, which is about 35 minutes from where we will bear hunt. This is not a remote type hunt but will be in the east central region of New Hampshire.

David

David, Awesome offer. I wish I had the extra vacation time to take you up on the offer. There are going to be a couple happy PBS members.

Same here David, although, I could possibly make it up for a long weekend! I have to see how much time I have. If you want to get together for some spring turkeys, give me a call.

David that's a very generous offer. If I didn't already have a spring bear hunt for my daughter and my semi annual moose hunt planned I would surely put my name in the hat ! Five weeks of vacation and it's still not enough . We haven't seen each other in a long time but an Osage bow you made and donated to the JLM Bunny Hunt hangs in my living room and brings back memories. Somebody is going to have a great time. Maybe 2016 .............

David Thanks for the generous offer. If you still have an opening I would be happy to come up and hunt bears with you. Those dates work fine for me too. So put my name in the hat.

Consider your name in the hat Allen. I have hunted this particular area a lot and am pretty confident about getting on some bears. I'll post some pics of the general area as this goes along too.

Bob, is that the knotty Osage bow I made? I was thinking of that bow a couple of days ago, I couldn't remember who won it! I'm glad you still have it.

David

Very nice offer David! Fill the spots with any other interested guys, but if no one is able or steps up. I'd be honored to hunt with you.

Dave, That's the one. It hangs in my living room along with some Jack Paluh paintings and a special stone point river cane arrow. I haven't taken anything with it yet but do shoot it and it's been along to several 3-d shoots. Still going strong.

I'll keep you updated Terry, like I said, I am pretty sure we will be on bears, maybe a deer or two too!

Bob that is great to hear, I am glad you have it and that it gets shot once in awhile.

David

Dave, if it's still open, would you mind adding my name to the hat?

Allen and Terry Bowling you are going bear hunting!! I will be touch with more details as we get along, but put aside the 15th-21st of September, and we will chase bears and maybe a few deer too!
I will get some pictures up of the area too to give you an idea of what type of country we will be hunting. You could see bear, moose, deer at any time. Stands will be set at fairly close ranges, 10-15 yards and not very high, and neither I or anyone else will hunt them prior to you guys getting here. Should be good!
Can't wait for September!!!

David

I'd like to Thank David for inviting me up to hunt. Just goes to show the type of good people we have as members of the PBS. I'm looking forward to meeting David & Terry, and sharing hunting camp with them. Allen.

This will be fun. I am by no means an expert at this, but I think we will be ok. A little bit of fellowship and hunting mixed in together can never be a bad thing, can it?

There is not one person (except my wife) who has a clue how excited I am right now!!!! Super excited to meet both David and Allen. PBS is absolutely the GREATEST ORGANIZATION EVER!!!! David I simply can not thank you enough, I have been trying to find (and then decide) where I could hunt bear (within my meager budget) without leaving the GOOD OL USA!!!!!! You Sir have answered this question for me!!!! :-)

Looking forward to it Terry, we will have a good time. All we need is for a few bears to cooperate. Looking forward to meeting you, I will be I touch.
