It has been nearly 10 years since Primal Dreams and we tried to show who we are and why we hunt through words, music and film footage. BUT, just check ouit the video production and continued message of some of todays hunters like Donny Vincent. (see clip above)

Mike,

Inspiring video, and represents how many of us view the adventure of a life spent hunting, fishing and living outdoors. Thank you!

OUTSTANDING video. I wish I could put what we do into words so eloquently. I have my moments but always fall short of that level. Simply great!

Yes, I'm kind of emotional today as all my moose meat has arived from Alaska, and I am working on cutting up ribs for dinner. I have been following Bryan and Kevin's thread about their moose hunt, and a friend just sent me Donnie's video. I know the hunt that we know may be in peril, I still see many out their that still have it in their heart.

Thank you for the video. He actually gets it.

How were the ribs, and where is the picture of the cooked product?

The moose was the first animal I took after becoming a PBS Regular Member. Ribs were very good and lots of meat.

Wow, those ribs make me hungry! Congrats Mike on the moose (+meat) and thanks for sharing this video. We need to do similar with a PBS "KTE" emphasis - Thanks again (and for making me hungry!)

Sometimes when people ask me why I hunt deer, I tell them that I am certain no one has put a needle full of antibiotics into their butt. They may not agree with my methods, but they get that. That's something they can't say for certain, unless they raise there own animals, at which point, we never have that particular conversation at all. Good video; we need more of the same.

Donnie Vincent is making the best bow hunting videos out there by far if you ask me. He doesnt use a bow tyats deemed acceptable by PBS standards, but it seems to me that everyone is liking what he is putting down.

Please see my thread, and check out all of Donnie's work-wont be a waste of your time I can promise you that!

Outstanding video Mike. I always remind myself that it is the "journey" that means so much to us all.

Mike, This is amazing, a 24 year old "Kid" at work has been talking about this guy. Apparently his message is getting through to the Non-PBS type. That's a great thing!
