Coastal whitetail doe from our recent Blackbeard Island Georgia PBS member hunt. What a great trip. From here on out when I look at these pictures I will remember the entire adventure and the fantastic company.

Here is link to members stories/adventures. Worth checking out. Oldest WMA hunt in the country. Began in 1968. Fred Bear and others stomped the sands here. Stories about it years ago in Outdoor Life magazine.

Way to go everyone on some nice animals. Some very hefty bucks taken with traditional equipment, I love it.

David that buck may not be a "giant" but he looks plenty good to me! Nice shooting.

Tom that picture of your doe where she fell is awesome. Fascinating place to hunt and it looks like a blast.

Snapping turtles, squirrels, bow kills during gun season this thread is awesome.

Dave, congrats on a good looking buck. Tom, the Blackbeard hunt looks like a very neat experience. You have away of capturing the adventure.

Took this doe Nov 2nd on a public land hunt in Western KY. Two other longbow shooters and myself spent the weekend camping, telling tall tales and eating too much. In between we managed to kill 2 deer and had a great time to boot.

We are in PA for Christmas and brought the bows, of course. Hunting family land this morning with his cousins (who were using their flintlock muzzleloaders), Daniel picked the correct escape trail when I made a push through a bedding area, and made a good shot.....

This button head makes two filled PA archery tags in a row for Daniel.

Finally got to let an arrow fly in the last minutes of the season.

I'd like to thank my PBS equipment sponsors.... Roberts, Springer, Vines, Dunn, Asbell et al.

Sorry I'm a bit late to this but I finally got my film back. (that's right I said film. ) I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to technology. Anyway, it looks like another good year for the meat pole, lots of dandy critters taken again, congratulations to all. I took this guy back in early November.

Nice buck Tom!

Killed this one back in September. Bill Dunn and his sidekick came down and helped in the retrieval.
